Most link marketplaces sell the same sites as each other. Mention House is built the other way round, starting with the publishers and keeping the list small enough to stand behind.
Buying links is usually an exercise in trust you cannot verify. You are shown a domain rating and a price, the same site appears on four other platforms at four other prices, and nobody will tell you what the placement actually is until after you have paid.
Mention House is an attempt to remove that. Every listing shows the authority, the traffic, the category, the placement type, the turnaround and the price before you commit, and you decide site by site rather than buying a package someone else assembled.
We manage the publisher relationships ourselves rather than reselling another broker's list. That is slower to build, and it is the reason the inventory can be held to a standard.
Three commitments that decide what gets listed and what does not.
We do not compete on being the cheapest. A link on a site that exists to sell links is worth nothing at any price.
Authority, traffic, turnaround and price are on the listing. The terms are written out rather than buried.
Domains are reviewed by hand before they are listed, and reviewed again if their metrics move.
We approach publishers directly. Sites are assessed on their organic traffic, their referring domain profile, their publishing history and whether the topics they cover are a genuine fit, and we look at how widely a site already sells placements, because a domain carrying paid links from five marketplaces is worth less than one that does not.
The catalogue currently holds more than two hundred sites between DR 40 and DR 90 across more than twenty five industries. It grows every month, and sites are removed when they stop meeting the standard.
Mention House was founded by Christopher Lier, who has worked in search and link building since 2015 and runs the business hands on, from publisher relationships through to the platform itself.
The company behind Mention House is Sentosa Limited, registered in England and Wales and based in London.
